‘Midlife’ is becoming an increasingly flexible description for my developmental stage. As I create a new garden after spending years maintaining my late parents’ vegetable patch and flower borders up the road, I retain their voices in my head advising and encouraging me to try and reach the horticultural heights that they achieved.
Along the way I might just pick up some gardening knowledge of my own and put it to good use.
This ongoing account of gardening Trial and Error is dedicated to Diana and John.
Doing great! Keep up the good work!
Good stuff Jamesie; I’d love to hear about the garden project some more, any tips for veg growing will be well received (just got the first line of spuds in).
